Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - January 2018 Sneak Peek

Hello sweet friends and followers!
Welcome to Day ONE of the first release of 2018

Before I tell you about this amazing stamp set being featured
today I'd like to digress just a tiny bit and share some other
news with you.  After four years of being a Krafty Girl
I decided to step down for a while and catch up on
all the other things in my non-crafty life that have been
needing more of my attention.  This was such a difficult
decision for me because I love, love, LOVED being a
Krafty Girl and my wonderful Krafty teamies - but
sometimes real life has to take precedent and
that doesn't mean I can't still sometimes play along!!
I'll always be one of Kraftin' Kimmie's biggest fans!

 So...back to this new release.
I'm delighted to be a guest designer for today's release peek
which is an amazing winter set by artist, Annie Rodrigue
called STACEY SLAPSHOT!  I just adore her!

I'd love to enter this card in the following challenges:

This strong girl stamp set comes with one large main image
and FIVE awesome sentiments!!

Be sure to join us at the LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday
afternoon at 1pm EST! We'll be checking out ALL of the FOUR
NEW clear stamp sets, sharing fabulous creations, giving away prizes
and having tons of krafty fun! There's a GIVEAWAY

12 Krafty Days of Khristmas Wrap Up (Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps) and 2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday friends and followers!
Congrats for making it past Monday lol!
Have you been following the
12 Krafty Days of Khristmas
event at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps/Challenges?

Each day we've been featuring one of the
stamp sets released each month during 2017.
You can see my posts for Day Two here
and for Day Nine here

Today I'm featuring one of the stamp sets from
November 2017 called A BREW-TIFUL DAY
(with a little extra accessories from Shake it Up)
I made some special gift bags for my co-workers
and friends by stamping all over some muslin bags
(one of them I then colored in with my copic markers)
and adding a coordinating tag.  Each gift has a small bag of
ground coffee and special winter/Christmas chocolates.

I also made one special little bag for a friend who doesn't
like coffee (the horror) using cocoa mix, a peppermint
and chocolate covered cookie stick (YUM!)
and some awesome large snowflake marshmallows
(one just can't have cocoa without marshmallows!).

here's a couple close ups of the coffee bags
(I apologize for the poor lighting on the photos )

I'm also sharing these gifts in these awesome challenges:
2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop (my third entry)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges - Gift it!
Brown Sugar Challenge Blog - #273 Anything But a Card
Little Red Wagon Challenge #422 Holiday Tags & Gift Card Holders
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Christmas/Winter Holidays
Use Your Stuff #292 - Christmas is Coming

Thanks so much for visiting me today!  Happy holidays to
each and every one of you.  May your days be merry and bright!

2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - Card #2

Hi again!  I'm back with my second card for the
2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.
It's only the 3rd day of this fun hop and there are already
well over 400 entries and 80 sponsors - WOW!

This time I'm using a sweet bear and his favorite mug
of coffee (or cocoa) from Neat and Tangled
(one of the hop's Super Sponsors) called
BEARY MERRY (and coordinating dies).
The sentiment is from Santa's Wonderland.
I colored the bear on kraft paper with copics and then
used the coordinating die.  The paper is from my Doodlebug
Designs stash - I love to use pink on my Christmas cards.

I'm also entering the following challenges:
I used Sketch #403 from September for my layout

Thanks again for visiting me!  I'll have one more post in the
morning with some special coffee/cocoa treat bags and tags
to share with you but for now I need to be off to bed
for my beauty rest.  Tomorrow I'll also start hopping myself
and leaving some love for other CLBH crafters.  Hugs! D

2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop - A Sweet Hello

Hello lovely friends and followers!
Hope you're all having a most wonderful day!
Thanks for taking a little time today to pop in
and visit me - I'm glad that you did.

I'm participating in the 2017 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop
If you haven't heard of this before please go check it out.
There are an amazing number of sponsors offering prizes
and lots and lots of fantastic inspiration featuring
all kinds of different creations.  If you LOVE coffee,
tea or cocoa it's a very fun event.  The past two seasons
I've only been able to hop and enjoy the lovely creations
by all the participants, but this year I found some time to
make three of my own WINTER themed coffee, cocoa creations
(so far) to share with you.  Here's my first one featuring an
adorable stamp set from YOUR NEXT STAMP (one of the
hop's Super Sponsors) called ELLIE LOVES LATTES
(and the coordinating die cut).  I also used some gorgeous
plaid papers from the 6 x 6 paper pack Winter Plaid.
So....drum's my card. Hope you like it!

In addition to the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop I'm
also entering this card in the following challenges:
{PIN}spirational Challenges #205 (Photo inspiration - see below)
I took inspiration from the plaid scarf and Christmas theme
"Merry and Bright" Snowman Winter Holiday Christmas ACEO Original Painting EBSQ | eBay
(I used light green, dark green and red)
than a latte on a winter day - especially for Christmas holiday?!)

Okay so that's all from me on this post.  Thanks again for
popping in to visit me.  I hope I've inspired you a little today.
I'll be back soon with my other coffee/cocoa creations :o).

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges #411 - Critters

Oh hello there! Happy Saturday friends!
I get the pleasure of hosting this week's challenge
Some of my favorite stamps released this past
year by KKS have been the ones with animals
so the theme for Challenge #411 is "CRITTERS".

Here's my card for today using FURRY HOLIDAY WISHES.
The sentiment is from another of my favorite animal stamps
sets called ICE, ICE, BABY.

I used the December KKS sketch for my layout (love it!).

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Have you been following the TWELVE KRAFTY DAYS OF KHRISTMAS

12 Krafty Days of Khristmas - DAY NINE (Mini Monsters)

Hello sweet friends and followers!
Welcome back to my blog if you've visited me before.
If you are new to me - welcome...I'm so happy you're here!!

The 12 Days of Khristmas event continues at
Each of the first twelve days of this month represents
the corresponding month of  2017 (for ex: January is
Day One, February is Day Two, etc.).  The Krafty DT
is showing their past creations with the stamp sets
and a NEW creation too.  Each day of this special
event you get 30% OFF that day's stamp sets!!
But only during that day and while supplies last.
What a gift!  Kimmie will combine shipping so that you can keep
shopping each day for the special sets that have been on your
wish list.  Just leave her a note in the comments in the order window
telling her that you wish to do this.  How awesome is that?!

I get the pleasure of featuring the uber adorable
MINI MONSTERS from September 2017.
This was a halloween stamp set BUT I put
a Christmas twist on it - take a look
What do you think?  Would you like to receive a Christmas
card with a monster on it?  I would if it was this cute!

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Before I go I wanted to share some of the other creations
I've made with this sweet little set.  I've had a lot of fun with it!

As you can see I've really enjoyed using this sweet set.
It will stay in my "all time favorites" category for sure.

Thanks so much for popping in to visit me today!
Happy holiday hugs! D

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenges Wonderful Wednesday (12.6.17)

Happy Wednesday friends and followers!
It's time for another WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY weekly challenge
You know what that means...the theme is ANYTHING GOES!
You can create and share any type of project with any theme!
We would love for you to play along with us! It's a great excuse to find
some more crafty time to finish those last minute cards and/or gifts.
To give you even more incentive you get a chance to WIN
some krafty $ to spend in the KKS Store (see challenge blog
for more details)!

Each month there is also a sketch that we provide to give you a
little extra MOJO if you need it.  I tend to use these sketches a lot
because not only are they great, they also help me create quicker
because I then have one less thing to decide on. With a sketch I have
the structure/layout already there and then can decide on my papers
and colors much easier.  Here's the December 2017 Sketch

This is one of the last Christmas cards I'll be making
(I have a couple others yet to share that I've already made
this week) because I have to stop and start getting them in
the mail.  Are you done with your Christmas cards and/or
gifts?  I'm always last minute Lucy myself lol!!

My card today features one of the the super "tweet" images
from MERRY AND BRIGHT BIRDIES.  Each of these
little fellas are just awesome but I think I'm just a teensy
tiny bit partial to this one with his big ol' candy cane.
I used the December sketch and a fun mix of red Christmas papers.
Here's a little closer view too

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Well lovelies I don't have much more to say today so I'll close
with a holiday (cyber) hug and a wish that you have the
most wonderful and blessed holiday season.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today!
